360! Method · Six Elements. Twenty-Two Parts. One System

You don't develop yourself in separate phases. You develop yourself in 360! degrees.

You are not made up of one habit, one routine or one mindset. You are made up of six elements. As long as you work on just one of them, the rest pulls you back. 360! makes all six visible, teaches you what you need when, and gives you 360! daily maintenance to keep it going.

01 · Why it keeps going wrong

You tackle one thing. And the rest pulls you back.

You start working out, but you sleep badly. You get your head straight, but your finances are a mess. You have a dream, but your body no longer has the energy to carry it. That isn't a lack of discipline. That is working on one element when you are made up of six.

How it usually goes

  • A course on one topic
  • Motivation that works on Monday and is gone by Thursday
  • Your body separate from your head, your head separate from your heart
  • Goals without direction, or direction without money
  • Only changing after things have already gone wrong
  • Alone, with an app and good intentions

How 360! does it

  • Bringing all six elements you're made of into view
  • Recognising which element needs attention now
  • Body, mind, heart and soul as one whole
  • Aligning your calling, vision, mission, planning and finances
  • Doing your 360! maintenance before things go wrong
  • Doing it together, with knowledge, information, resources and a network around you

As long as you don't know which parts you are made of, you keep guessing where the leak is. That's why 360! starts with the map.

02 · The map

What a person is made of

Six elements, twenty-two parts. Not theory: for every part you can say today whether it is solid or leaking. This is the map the rest of the 360! Method runs on.

016 parts

Body

  • Breathing The first and the last act of your life, and the only one you can consciously control. How you breathe determines how you react.
  • Movement A body that stands still gets stuck. Movement isn't a performance, it's 360! maintenance.
  • Food and hydration What you take in determines what you can give. Water too. Especially water.
  • Sleep Recovery is not a luxury. Without sleep, no other element works at full strength.
  • Your nervous system Your nervous system determines whether you react from calm or from alarm. When it's in alarm mode, no good intention will help.
  • The energy in your body Where is the tension, where is the fatigue, where is the strength. Your body keeps the score.
025 parts

Mindset

  • What you feed it with Which books, interviews, documentaries, series and films go in. Your thinking is the average of what you consume.
  • How you have your conversations Do the conversations you have every day contribute to your growth, or do they keep you in the same place?
  • How you develop your skills How you train them, how you deepen them, how you master them. Talent without practice remains a promise.
  • Which mentors and coaches you have Who is allowed to correct you. Who sees what you don't see. Without that voice you go round and round in your own 360! circle.
  • Moments of rest and silence A mind without a break can't think, it can only react.
035 parts

Discernment

  • Seeing the people behind the people Who is really in front of you, apart from the role they are playing.
  • Seeing the situation behind the situation What is really happening here, beneath what seems to be happening.
  • Hearing the words behind the words What is being said, and what is being meant. They are rarely the same.
  • Seeing the dreams behind the dreams What a person's longing is really about, beneath the dream they put into words.
  • Understanding the silence behind the silence What goes unsaid is often the most important part of the conversation.
042 parts

Manifestation & Communication

  • Manifestation Being aware of every word that comes out of your mouth all day. Do they contribute to growth, or are you tearing down with your own mouth what you want to build?
  • Communication Do you speak to connect? With yourself, and with the other person. Or do you speak to be right, to fill the silence, to get out of something?
052 parts

Emotions

  • Getting information from your emotions What is this feeling really telling you, and what is it not telling you. An emotion is a signal, not a conclusion.
  • Not making it your identity Your feelings are never the same from one day to the next. So you are not what you feel today.
062 parts

Soul

  • Your soul Your soul was, is and always will be, and returns to the Maker. That is the layer that doesn't change when your circumstances change.
  • Your spirit Your spirit has a will of its own. The question that steers everything is: and what is the will of the Maker?
Six elements. Twenty-two parts. Once you can name them, you can maintain them.
The 360! Method
Which of your elements is leaking?

The free 360! Scan takes you through all six elements and shows your own 360! circle in two minutes, including the point where you start this week. Along the way we only ask for your first name and your email address, so you can keep your 360! results.

03 · The law of balance

You can never work on all six in one day.

That isn't a shortcoming, it's how it works. 360! doesn't ask you to do everything every day. 360! teaches you something harder and far more useful: what you need when, and how to keep your balance over a week, a month, a season.

1. Recognise

Which element is calling

Fatigue is almost never a lack of motivation. It is a leak in one element. Learn where the leak is before you start pulling harder.

2. Respond

Give it what it asks for

Sometimes the answer is sleep. Sometimes a conversation with a mentor. Sometimes silence. The right answer at the wrong moment doesn't work.

3. Maintain

Keep it moving

Balance isn't a destination you arrive at. It is a 360! circle you keep going round. That's why it's 360! degrees, and that's why it's never finished.

This is the heart of the 360! Method

It's about 360! daily maintenance

360! isn't a course you complete or an insight you get once. It is 360! daily maintenance of all the elements you are made of. That's why it's 360! degrees, and that's why it's never finished. A 360! circle has no end point.

Reinvent yourself and your business.
Every day, all over again.

And the daily part is small

  • Breathing a moment in which you calm yourself
  • Water before you start on the coffee
  • Movement even if it's only ten minutes
  • Admin personal and business, kept up to date daily

Altogether, this takes less time than a single episode. The rest you spread across your week. 360! daily maintenance doesn't mean doing everything every day, it means your 360! circle turns every day.

360! transformation isn't the moment the penny drops. It's what remains after months of 360! maintenance.
04 · From 360! maintenance to direction

Only when your 360! maintenance is in place can you stand in your calling.

Your 360! maintenance is the work on the six elements. Until that is in order, everything you build on top of it has no foundation. Only when it is in place are you truly able to stand in your calling, have a clear vision and know what you want to do, out of your mission, to contribute to that vision.

That is the CVMPF model: calling, vision, mission, planning and finances. In this order, because each one follows from the one before.

Your calling is about you. Your vision is about everyone. Your mission is the bridge between them.

The same sentence three times, each time a wider circle. That's why nobody has to invent their vision out of thin air: one follows from the other. And beneath them lie the two that always get skipped, planning and finances, because without those two it stays just a good feeling.

CAbout you

Calling

I know what I am meant to do each day based on what I have come to bring, not on what others ask of me.

We usually see calling as something we do for someone else. It isn't. Your calling is to be the image of God and to take authority over everything entrusted to you, internally and externally. So first over yourself and your six elements, and only then over what lies beyond.

That's why your 360! daily maintenance isn't a side issue next to your calling. It is the first place where your calling becomes visible.

VAbout everyone

Vision

I can describe how I see the world in its most ideal form.

From that calling, you see a world before you. A world in which every person stands in the image of God and takes authority over what has been entrusted to them. That picture is your vision. You don't have to invent it, it follows from your calling.

Not a goal and not a revenue figure, but the picture of how things would be if they were right. Without that picture you don't know what you are building towards, and then you end up building someone else's plans.

MThe bridge between them

Mission

I know how I contribute to that vision with my talents and gifts.

Your mission is your part in that vision. It includes your dreams, your goals, your talents and your gifts, and everything you want to be for others. Including the part of your story you would rather not talk about. That's why you don't start with it.

In the 360! Community you learn to apply this principle, so you don't start on your mission while your 360! maintenance isn't yet in order.

PWith God's will above it

Planning

I plan backwards from the point where it has already been achieved.

Only when your calling, your vision and your mission are clear do you know how to plan strategically. And put God's will above your planning, otherwise you build up frustration. You can plan life as much as you like, but if you can't accept that things sometimes turn out differently from what you had in mind, you wear yourself out.

And reverse the order. Most people plan forwards from where they stand now, and then their plan becomes only as big as their current situation. First stand at the point where it has already been achieved, look back from there, and plan back to today. You don't plan from your limitation, you plan from your destination.

FWorks on principles

Finances

I keep my admin up to date every day and I know what I need and how I will get it.

If you want to carry out your mission with excellence, you need a good understanding of finances and a good relationship with them. We often forget that. Finances work on principles, and those principles start working for you once you live and move from your 360! maintenance.

Personal and business, up to date every day. Knowing how much investment you need, how you are going to get it and within what timeframe. Money is the last stage, not the first, but without that stage everything you have built above it remains an idea. Stewardship turns income into abundance.

Where it leads

When you stand in your calling, your vision and your mission, have your planning in place but know when it's time for God's will, and understand your finances, a world of abundance opens up and you truly stand in your purpose.

Start with your six elements

The free 360! Scan shows you where you stand on your six elements. That is the foundation beneath your calling, vision, mission, planning and finances.

05 · Do you recognise yourself?

Three people. The same leak.

A different stage, a different story, a different pace. But all three get stuck at the same point: they work hard on one element, while six are asking for attention.

The load-bearer

The woman who carries everything

Work, children, family, everyone. Except herself.

"I keep everything standing. But who keeps me standing?"

  • Where the leak is Body. Sleep, energy and rest were the first things to go, and the rest followed on its own.
  • What 360! does Shows that this isn't a discipline problem but a balance problem, and gives her back what she gave away first.
  • Where she starts With one element at a time, starting with the body. Not adding more, but taking something back.
The builder

The woman who wants to build

Ambitious, talented, and still not consistent.

"I know I have it in me. So why can't I keep it up consistently?"

  • Where the leak is Mindset and CVMPF. Lots of input, little direction, and a plan made from her current situation.
  • What 360! does Lines up calling, vision and mission and teaches her to plan backwards from the point where it has already been achieved.
  • Where she starts By no longer consuming and starting to choose. One vision, one mission, one plan.
The rediscoverer

The woman who is starting over

After a divorce, a loss, an empty nest, a turning point.

"I spent my life taking care of others. Now it's my turn, but I don't know how."

  • Where the leak is Emotions and Soul. She makes her feelings her identity, while the layer that doesn't change stays untouched.
  • What 360! does Separates what she feels from who she is, and brings her back to her calling instead of her role.
  • Where she starts By taking the information from the emotion. And then the question: what do I need to do, now, for myself?

And in a group it works exactly the same way

The 360! Method isn't tied to a stage of life, an industry or a goal. It shows where strength is draining away and puts words to something that usually has none. That works in a changing room and a boardroom just as well as at a kitchen table.

Individuals

Words for what's going on, instead of trying to fix everything at once. You recognise a setback before it comes.

Sport and teams

Recovery and sleep as performance rather than weakness. A shared vision instead of eleven separate goals.

Organisations

A common language for strain and balance. Leaders who see the situation behind the situation.

Professionals

Healthcare, education, social care, entrepreneurs. Those who give need to be filled up themselves. From just keeping going to building.

06 · Where you maintain this

You don't keep up the 360! Method on your own.

Your six elements and your CVMPF need 360! maintenance, and people who do it with you. This is the route. You always start at the same stage: knowing where you stand.
